A Decade of Kobita Club: The brain child of Surojit Chatterjee, it was the simple line "Aar Bhallegena Tomay Chharra," on the social media platform Facebook, that set the ball rolling for Kobita Club. Wayback in December 2011, this quintissential line and a suggestion to add on lines created a stir. The language connect in Bengali was instant and it appealed to people. There was a spontaneous and huge participation, from people across generations and from various parts of the world. The result was a huge poem that went on to occupy almost four pages in the print form. And thus it continued, writing, posting and sharing lines of poetry almost everyday with new lines, themes etc in Bengali language.
